You know there is an old expression that I have heard,  “In every life some rain must fall”. Without the rain and trials of life we would not be growing and learning so many different life lessons. I think that the lessons that I have personally learned thus far are the most important. Because, by ourselves it is easy to be me centered, me oriented, me focused on every aspect of life. Generally speaking through God’s Miracle of birth we all arrive on the scene by ourselves from the safety of our mothers wombs.

And then everything we learn, eating, crawling, standing, speaking etc are learned and used by us to be independent of everyone. Our parents are charged with the responsibility of protecting us, feeding, clothing and helping their children to see their God given gifts, assisting in their education, the most important of which is Faith in my opinion. And being a kind and compassionate member of society on many different  levels and aspects.God did not design us to be self absorbed, he intends us to be a generous benefactor giving our time, service and gifts to others to bring The kingdom Of God to life on Earth.

Teach The Children wells Crosby Stills

And  when we are ready and have learned our life lessons we are on our own, the masters of our own destinies.

But we need to strike a balance in this life.

What it comes down to is this, in my opinion.. While we are out persuing who we are to become what happened to me personally  was my Faith was at odds with my drive to succeed at what God had show me as my lifes work. My work was also a ministry of sorts, I loved my clients /friends and my employees. I yearned for the simplicity of Being with God, With family, with friends and helping any one along my road that I could. I needed to learn that I had to watch to make sure that the worldly stuff did not invade every area of my life. God and service could not be put on hold. So, I was busy juggling work, family, faith friends and charitable endeavors. But I was young and why shouldn’t I or my wife sacrafice ? To whom much is given much is expected.

I am sitting here with a monsoon outside today 🙂  LOL It is still beautiful to look out and see God’s nature at work.

I thank God that when I was physically able back in the day that I did every single thing that I could do for another that needed it while I could. My wife and I never left one brother or Sister behind. Praise God that I/ we listened when I/ we were called. If I had not who knows if God would have heard me in my moment of need.

Remember The Lords Words… What You Do For Your Brother, You Have Done For Me. Amen!

“Thank You Lord ” ( for the trials that come my way ) with lyrics

My lifes ups and downs are mine just as yours are yours. It is when we are in our lowest possible points in life that we truely become the most generous, the most loving and the most compassionate. God stetches you to become more. We gain an understanding of something that we were blind to. It is like fasting and prayer through fasting, we receive additional graces that allow us to learn a different type of teaching through The Holy Spirit. Where we get what God is saying without the wondering. We own it.

I honesty hope to soon be out in front of the Blessed Sacrament at my church asking Jesus through prayer to answer my and your needs, to see my dad more, to visit the nursing home once again to say hello and let them know that they still count.

I just found where that old saying comes from….. Below.

The day is cold, and dark, and dreary;
It rains, and the wind is never weary;
The vine still clings to the moldering wall,
But at every gust the dead leaves fall,
And the day is dark and dreary.

My life is cold, and dark, and dreary;
It rains, and the wind is never weary;
My thoughts still cling to the moldering Past,
But the hopes of youth fall thick in the blast
And the days are dark and dreary.

Be still, sad heart! and cease repining;
Behind the clouds is the sun still shining;
Thy fate is the common fate of all,
Into each life some rain must fall,
Some days must be dark and dreary.

Today I choose life. Every morning when I wake up I can choose joy, happiness, negativity, pain… To feel the freedom that comes from being able to continue to make mistakes and choices – today I choose to feel life, not to deny my humanity but embrace it.

Kevyn Aucoin

I had a very heart wrenching conversation with a very sick Aunt the otherday. She is my god mother actually. We converse by phone when she feels up to it. My aunty has been struggling with lung cancer that has spread. She is tough and is a fighter. She has had one set back after another and the treatment is getting too much for her to handle. She is sick and tired and very angry with life.

Yesterday, I was so happy that she called me because she and I were able to talk about everything in her heart surrounding her illness and in her feeling towards what she felt her illness was doing to her family. Every word she uttered I got, just as every response that I gave she understood. She was suddenly not alone in this crisis.

She like I have said has been suffering from a terminal cancer and has held her chin up to Heaven with constant prayer.

I said you know Aunty, its okay if you are tired, it is okay to continue treatment or not to continue treatment.

You need to pray to God and get peace about this. Sometimes quality of life is more important that quantity. If you are this terribly sick from this new drug treatment then maybe you need to decide if it is worth it.

You see these are very real life circumstances that I too may need to face at some date.

I reassured her that she will know, a peace will come to her surrounding any decision around this matter that she makes. God is with her

God’s got her and us all.

So, Please keep my Aunty J in your prayers.

Remember life can be lived like a tragedy or it can be lived with the assurance that God’s got it and it will be beautiful depite the circumstance.

If God’s got a loving word for another that is stuck on your lips you need to let that love message out. Unleash Love to everyone !   Amen !

I know that my Aunt would love this song. It is from our family vacations at the beach in NH

In The Moment, Cancer and fatigue.

This morning I got up bright eyed and bushy tailed as my mom used to say and decided to do some investigation on fatigue in cancer patients such as myself.

My doctor told me it would take a long time for my energy to rebound  after my treatment. The physical therapists told me to go at life but do not over due because their is a lot of the brain that is working overtime to get the whole body functioning once again. It is creating new pathways from new brain cells back to my left side.

So, I stopped doing the obsurd things of pushing my body to the brink and throttled back. I was pushing my body , mind and Spirit to the max to heal so  that I could get back out into the world to help pay for life/family expenses, to contribute to those that I used to help and for those that need help. For those that I have yet to meet. I again was living on Danny’s time frame which was stupid.

My stubborness and pushing caused me to do some very unsafe things, plus it set me up for failure because I ended up with sciatic nerve pain, and tendonitis  of my good arm.

Both these conditions have finally healed Praise God.

It is a real reminder of who I am at the core. I want it all. But, you know God wants the best for us and HE  will do his work in me and in you when it is time by his measure only. Where I am today is exactly where he wants me. God wants me to just look to Heaven and wait on him. During this wait time he does not expect me to be just sitting and watching HBO either. We need to reach out to help one another to what ever capacity that we can. God knows my ability far better than I do, he knows what every cell in my body is doing right now. He wants us to subordinate all to him.

Part of my belly acheing is the fact that the energy runs high and low. I have had to learn to pace myself. If I go out for dinner for 4-5 hours and there  is walking and stairs involved then, I could spend the next two days on the chair tired and napping.

I have now read so much on the issue that I understand that it is part of the cancer story.

What cancer does and what the Chemo and radiation does to the body requires a long time for the body to rebound and recover from in a real way.

So, life is good. And, if you are wondering why you are tired after cancer treatment or any illness for that matter. look into it with your Dr. and search out others in your boat. It is a comfort to see others pulling through the same life situation.

God’s got us in every moment. Amen.

I just found this video, God brought me directly to it.

This was not planned by me but look how it goes with what I just wrote.

That’s God per usual. Always perfect in his timing.

I spoke to a dear friend today and she has been such a beautiful witness to Christ  in so many ways for so many people. Isn’t it  funny how those who truely witness God are so unaware of the effect that they have on so many others. It is a beautiful humbleness. Amen!

She said to me I had an experience, I saw Jesus there were no words spoken but it was beautiful.

She said, I know you would understand but I did not want to scare others. I said did it bring you peace and she said yes, then i said it was a gift from God to let you know that he is in fact happy with you.

There is no fear required 🙂

Guess What !  God’s loving you all too 🙂

Ask God for a revelation in your life 🙂 Knock and he shall answer.

Our Angels are with us always. St. Michael and St. Raphael are constantly called on through my prayers to protect me and sustain me as well .

I believe in them, plus we have our very own guardian angel that is assigned to us by God.

We are very special to God.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This article is about the religious concept. For the group of individuals, see Guardian Angels. For other uses, seeGuardian angel (disambiguation).

Guardian angel, by Pietro da Cortona, 1656

A guardian angel is an angel assigned to protect and guide a particular person or group, kingdom or country. Belief in guardian angels can be traced throughout all antiquity. The concept of tutelary angels and their hierarchy was extensively developed in Christianity in the 5th century by Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite.

The theology of angels and tutelary spirits has undergone many refinements since the 400s. Belief in both the East and the West is that guardian angels serve to protect whichever person God assigns them to,[1] and present prayer to God on that person’s behalf.

Origin[edit]

Guardian angel statue in St. Oswald, Oberdrauburg, Austria.

The belief in guardian angels can be traced throughout all antiquity; Pagans, like Menander and Plutarch, and Neo-Platonists, like Plotinus, held it.

According to Leo Trepp, in late Judaism the belief developed that “….the people have a heavenly representative, a guardian angel. Every human being has a guardian angel. Previously the term `Malakh’, angel, simply meant messenger of God.”[2] The belief that angels can be guides and intercessors for men can be found in Job 33:23-6, and in theDaniel 10:13 angels seem to be assigned to certain countries. In this latter case the “prince of the Persian kingdom” contends with Gabriel. The same verse mentions “Michael, one of the chief princes”. In the New Testament Epistle of Jude Michael is described as anarchangel. Scripture says that God will “set a guard of holy angels over all the righteous” (1 En 100:5) to guard them during the end of time. In Matthew 18:10, Jesus says of children: “See that you do not look down on one of these little ones. For I tell you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father in heaven” (New International Version). This is often understood to mean that children are protected by guardian angels, and appears to be corroborated by Hebrews 1:14 when speaking of angels, ‘Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?’

In Acts 12:12-15 there is another allusion to the belief that a specific angel is assigned to protect each individual. After Peter had been escorted out of prison by an angel, he went to the home of ‘Mary the mother of John, also called Mark’. The servant girl, Rhoda, recognized his voice and ran back to tell the group that Peter was there. However the group replied, “It must be his angel”‘ (12:15). With this scriptural sanction, Peter’s angel was the most commonly depicted guardian angel in art, and was normally shown in images of the subject, most famously Raphael‘s fresco of the Deliverance of Saint Peter in the Vatican.

Judaism[edit]

In Rabbinic literature, the Rabbis expressed the notion that there are indeed guardian angels appointed by Adonai to watch over people.

Rashi on Daniel 10:7 “Our Sages of blessed memory said that although a person does not see something of which he is terrified, his guardian angel, who is in heaven, does see it; therefore, he becomes terrified.”[3]

Lailah is an angel of the night in charge of conception and pregnancy. Lailah serves as a guardian angel throughout a person’s life and at death, leads the soul into the afterlife.[4]

Modern rabbis clarify that people might indeed have guardian angels. God watches over people and makes decisions directly with their prayers and it is in this context that the guardian angels are sent back and forth as emissaries to aid in this task, thus, they are not prayed to directly but are part of the workings of how the prayer and response comes about.[5]

Catholicism[edit]

According to St. Jerome the concept of guardian angels is in the “mind of the Church” and he stated that: “how great the dignity of the soul, since each one has from his birth an angel commissioned to guard it”.[6]

The first Christian theologian to outline a specific scheme for guardian angels was Honorius of Autun in the 12th century. He said that every soul was assigned a guardian angel the moment it was put into a body. Scholastic theologians augmented and ordered the taxonomy of angelic guardians. Thomas Aquinas agreed with Honorius and believed that it was the lowest order of angels who served as guardians, and his view was most successful in popular thought, but Duns Scotus said that any angel is bound by duty, authority and obedience to the Divine Authority to accept the mission to which that angel is assigned. In the 15th century, the Feast of the Guardian Angels was added to the official calendar of Catholic holidays.

Centuries later, in his 1997 Regina Caeli address, Pope John Paul II referred to the concept of guardian angel twice, and concluded the address with the statement: “Let us invoke the Queen of angels and saints, that she may grant us, supported by our guardian angels, to be authentic witnesses to the Lord’s paschal mystery“.[7]

Old Testament[edit]

The guardian angel concept is clearly present in the Old Testament, and its development is well marked. The Old Testament conceived of God’s angels as his ministers who carried out his behests, and who were at times given special commissions, regarding men and mundane affairs.[6]

In Genesis 18-19, angels not only act as the executors of God’s wrath against the cities of the plain, but they deliver Lot from danger; in Exodus 32:34, God says to Moses: “my angel shall go before thee.” At a much later period we have the story of Tobias, which might serve for a commentary on the words of Psalm 91:11: “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways;” (Cf. Psalm 33:8 and 34:5) Lastly, in Daniel 10 angels are entrusted with the care of particular districts; one is called “prince of the kingdom of the Persians”, and Michael is termed “one of the chief princes”; cf. Deuteronomy 32:8 (Septuagint); and Ecclesiasticus 17:17 (Septuagint).

New Testament[edit]

In the New Testament the concept of guardian angel may be noted with greater precision. Angels are everywhere the intermediaries between God and man; and Christ set a seal upon the Old Testament teaching: “See that you despise not one of these little ones: for I say to you, that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 18:10). A twofold aspect of the doctrine is here put forth: even little children have guardian angels, and these same angels lose not the vision of God by the fact that they have a mission to fulfill on earth.[6]

Other key examples in the New Testament are the angel who succoured Christ in the garden, and the angel who deliveredSt. Peter from prison. Hebrews 1:14 puts the doctrine in its clearest light: “Are they not all ministering spirits, sent to minister for them, who shall receive the inheritance of salvation?” In this view, the function of the guardian angel is to lead men to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Guardian angels as trustees of children[edit]

Guardian angel, German postcard, 1900

Jean Daniélou writes in his classic study of Jewish Christianity that:

It is a remarkable fact that later theology can be proved to have borrowed the doctrine of the guardian angel for Jewish Christianity. Clement of Alexandria, . . . writes in the Eclogae Propheticae: ‘Scripture says that little children who are exposed are entrusted to a guardian angel, who brings them up and makes them grow; and they shall be, he says, like the faithful here who are a hundred years old’ (XLI. 1). Later on Clement quotes a similar doctrine, which derives from the same background, and which he attributes explicitly to the Apocalypse of Peter: ‘Divine providence extends not only to those who are in the flesh, Peter, for example, says in his Apocalypse, “Aborted infants are entrusted to a guardian angel, so that having obtained a share in the gnosis[8] they may arrive at a better destiny”‘ (XLVIII, 1).[9]

Daniélou also noted:

It is in Jewish Christian theology that the angel of peace occurs, who is charged with the task of receiving the soul as it leaves the body and leading it to Paradise. ThusTest. Asher states: If the man dies in peace, he goes to meet the angel of peace, who leadeth him to eternal life’ (VI, 6; cf. also Test. Benj VI, 1; Test. Dan VI,5).[10]The doctrine does not appear in earlier apocalyptic, in which the angels have the task of watching over the bodies of the saints (Life of Adam, 46-47); and in the New Testament, Jude 9, following the Assumption of Moses, and indeed is more reminiscent of the Hellenistic doctrine of the angel-escorts of the soul,[11] though it does not in fact derive from it. Later it was to have an important place in Christian liturgy (‘In Paradisum deducant te Angeli’), which seems to be one of the ancient inheritances from Jewish Christianity.[12]

Interaction with Guardian angels[edit]

Saint Gemma Galgani reported interaction with her guardian angel.

Christian mystics have at times reported ongoing interactions and conversations with their guardian angels, lasting several years. Saint Gemma Galgani and Maria Valtorta are two examples, both having also reported extensive visions of Jesus and Mary.[13][14]

Saint Gemma Galgani, a Roman Catholic mystic, stated that she had interacted with and spoken with her guardian angel. She stated that her guardian angel had acted as her teacher and guide, at times stopping her from speaking up at inappropriate moments.[15]

The bed-ridden Italian writer and mystic Maria Valtorta wrote The Book of Azariah based on “dictations” that she directly attributed to her guardian angel Azariah, discussing the Roman Missalused for Sunday Mass in 1946 and 1947. In these dictations, each Sunday her guardian angel, Azariah, commented on the Missal for that day.[16]

Saint Pio was known to instruct his parishioners to send him their guardian angel to communicate a trouble or issue to him when they could not travel to get to him or another urgency existed.

Catholic prayer[edit]

18th century rendition of a guardian angel.

This is the traditional Catholic prayer to one’s guardian angel.[17]

Angel of God, my guardian dear
to whom God’s love commits me here.
Ever this day/night be at my side
to light, to guard, to rule and guide.
Amen.

In Latin:

Angele Dei,
qui custos es mei,
me, tibi commissum pietate superna,
illumina, custodi,
rege et guberna.
Amen.[18]

An Eastern Orthodox prayer to the Guardian Angel:

O Angel of Christ, my holy Guardian and Protector of my soul and body, forgive me all my sins of today. Deliver me from all the wiles of the enemy, that I may not anger my God by any sin. Pray for me, sinful and unworthy servant, that thou mayest present me worthy of the kindness and mercy of the All-holy Trinity and the Mother of my Lord Jesus Christ, and of all the Saints. Amen.

Islam[edit]

There is a similar Islamic belief in the Mu’aqqibat. According to many Muslims, each person has two guardian angels, one on each side.[19][not in citation given]

Zoroastrianism[edit]

Main article: Fravashi

Also known as Arda Fravaš (‘Holy Guardian Angels’). Each person is accompanied by a guardian angel,[20] which acts as a guide throughout life. They originally patrolled the boundaries of the ramparts of heaven,[21] but volunteer to descend to earth to stand by individuals to the end of their days.

Literary usage[edit]

Statue of a guardian angel in Memmelsdorf, Germany.

Guardian angels were often considered to be matched by a personal demon who countered the angel’s efforts, especially in popular medieval drama such as morality plays like the 15th century The Castle of Perseverance. In Christopher Marlowe‘s play The Tragical History of Doctor Faustus, of about 1592, Faustus has a “Good Angel” and “Bad Angel” who offer competing advice (Act 2, scene 1, etc.). These useful dramatic characters have enjoyed continued popularity in popular media, as the shoulder angel, often matched by a personal demon, of modern films and cartoons.

Guardian angels appear in literary works of the medieval and Renaissance periods. Later the Anglican English physician and philosopher Sir Thomas Browne (1605–82), stated his belief in Religio Medici (part 1, paragraph 33),

Therefore for Spirits I am so farre from denying their existence, that I could easily believe, that not only whole Countries, but particular persons have their Tutelary, and Guardian Angels: It is not a new opinion of the Church of Rome, but an old one of Pythagoras and Plato; there is no heresay in it, and if not manifestly defined in Scripiture, yet is it an opinion of a good and wholesome use in the course and actions of a man’s life, and would serve as an Hypothesis to salve many doubts, whereof common philosophy affordeth no solution.[22]

By the 19th century, the guardian angel was no longer viewed in Anglophone lands as an intercessory figure, but rather as a force protecting the believer from performing sin. A parody apperars in Lord Byron’s Don Juan,

“Oh! she was perfect past all parallel—

Of any modern female saint’s comparison;
So far above the cunning powers of hell,

Her guardian angel had given up his garrison” (Canto I, xvii).

While Byron’s usage of the guardian angel is influenced by Alexander Pope‘s “sylph“, it seems that the popular image of the angel was as a spiritual superego.

A song came back to me today and I went in search of it and tried to find what the meaning of the song was. I remember being in grade school and this song was very popular. It was in regards to St. Michael the Archangel. God and his angels are with us constantly. This song is the part of the rich fabric of my Catholic upbringing.

And, I loved the nuns too. A writing for another day.

The highwaymen  Michael Row Your Boat Ashore.

By Kim Ruehl

History of “Michael Row the Boat Ashore”

“Michael Row the Boat Ashore” is an old American folk song that hails from the slave era, and became a popular anthem during the civil rights movement. Its existence was first noted in the early 1860s, although the song itself is probably much older. The song was noted in letters between teachers and abolitionists, who heard it while on St. Helena Island in South Carolina.

“Michael Row the Boat Ashore” Lyrics

Most people nowadays probably only know the refrain from this traditional song, which repeats “Michael row the boat ashore, Hallelujah” twice. The full song, however, talks about crossing the River Jordan, and Michael is the archangel Michael. While there are many versions of the song—due to the fact that it was passed down orally for a long time before being recorded—the lyrics basically talk about finding God and one’s family on the other side of the river in the promised land:O the Lord he plant his garden there.
He raise the fruit for you to eat.
He that eat shall never die.
When the river overflow.

Pete Seeger has noted that, since the song was found in the islands off South Carolina, it may be indicative of a work song that the slaves sung as they were rowing to the mainland. In the more mainstream version recorded by Seeger (purchase/download), he sings also of the familial calls of the song:

Michael row the boat ashore, hallelujah
Sister help to trim the sail, hallelujah

Who has recorded “Michael Row the Boat Ashore”?

Several popular versions of “Michael Row the Boat Ashore” have been recorded through the years. In addition to Pete Seeger’s version, the song has also been recorded by Harry Belafonte ( purchase/download ), Peter, Paul and Mary (purchase/download ) and the Nields ( purchase/download ).

In The Beginning of true Spiritual awakening of all of us is a long time in the making. We experience different levels of awareness in God, his existence and supreme gift to us all and I m not talking about life 🙂 That is a Miracle in itself.  I am referring to the gift of The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit as far as I am concerned is our bridge to the Almighty, he facilitates all that is good, he inspires us, he warns us,he allows God to fill us with joy and allows our conscience to feel guilt for a wrong doing. The Holy Spirit will help to bring us to our knees for repentence before our Lord. The Holy  Spirit that dwells within every one of us is God given and works in concert with our desires, needs and to allow us to fulfill our destiny for God and his people. We need to allow The Holy Spirit to work with us. We need to pray for his assistance in a meaningful way. I mentioned this in one of my recent blog writing that I began praying and commiting myself to God and the holy Spirit with my daily shower and telling all of Heaven that the water was my rededication and reminder of my baptismal water. I say daily to God that I surrender myself to whatever he wants from me and tell the Holy Spirit to please use me to the best of my ability. Lastly, I call on all of Heaven through my prayers for all of the Angels and Saints to please bestow on me any gifts of the Spirit that I may need in the future. Heaven is for real.:) This is a very special time that we are living in, a time like no other. It is a time of Miracles, it is a time of God’s pouring out of The Holy Spirit and Spiritural gifts for eachone of us. We all have our very own special gifts. Some we are born with some we acquire from God in the moment of his choosing. Our gifts can bend and change over a period of time based on what God wants and needs us to accomplish. The one prerequsite that God has for each of us to open our hearts and desire to be an agent of good to be the light to oneanother. It is simple. Through my childhood, adolescence and even into my 30’s I was always searching for my true God and his existence. I could feel him to a certain degree but the picture was still far from focus. During that time for me the 90’s.  Life had a lot of moments of hurts from people you know, daily nonsence. Its hard to see God when you are surrounded by others who are not necessarily in Christ or God based. You are wandering around in a crowd of lost sheep many of which have no idea that they are even lost. I am not judging but  it is indeed a fact.   Well in the latter part of my 30’s I managed to bring my picture into a little more clarity with prayer and the assistance of others through a beautiful retreat know as Cursillo in a retreat house know as St. Basil’s in Methuen, Ma. that was I believe in Oct 1999. My wife went in November of the same year. It was life changing, the focus and picture was now crystal clear! It was an intersection where God made himself and his presence known. It is a Miracle, just as St. Basils is. You should call and look into this retreat house. It will be the best gift that you can give yourself ! So, I came back from that retreat and one of my friends called me the next day and  said, hey Dan, I saw you walking on the water of the lake today 🙂  It was so funny,he knew that I was on Fire .lol Each day that we live sets the stage for the next day and action. So all of the many little or big moments of my daily journey that come out onto this blog journal are always building for a bigger God moment. They are all God moments because he is there with us getting us through. All of our Spiritual Gifts are to be shared. It is not about us. This blog tells my journey through God. It his victory over death (my) and yours. God wants my life psalm #139 shared so that all will see him, and draw closer to our Heavenly Father.    4- 5 years ago, I am not sure of the date, I was called out of the blue into some of the most intense Spiritual experiences that I could ever have imagined. I was blown out of the water, I will just refer to them as writing for my church. The details of those writings were not for us , they are for the church. I will say this anyone with a sense of Spiritural awareness just needs to look at the news or turn on the television to see what is going on. The world is out of balance. This process was stretching myself and family to the max. The Holy Spirit is just so awesome. My spiritual adviser said to me , Dan, lets just see where it goes, and we did. I will explain about this experience at a later date.   My first vision, vivid dream, about 4-5 years ago during the time I was doing the  church writings. I was asleep and had the most vivid dream. God uses our own lifes experiences and will make them part of his message in my case it was based in my lifes work and I have been for over 30 years through the gift of the  Holy Spirit an interior Designer. I have done projects that when I had completed them looked at them and said, God, I did that! I did through God and love alone complete my projects .More on that later too!:) So, I was sleeping and my vision which seemed like forever started. I am giving my account  to you exactly as It happened and was told to my priest, my adviser and friend long ago… This remember was more that 3 years before my cancer diagnosis. I walked up to the door of this house and rang the bell. I had decorating samples in my hand. A women came to the door and opened it, I just remember how pleasant she was, I could hear children laughing and she said, excuse me for a moment and walked away off to the left in the direction of the children. I did not see them but heard them laughing.  So, I stood there and it seemed like a while, I being the type A personality and loving what I did. I said to myself, I will just walk in to the right here and see what she needs. So the interior was very itherial everything was a very soothing white color. It was extremely peaceful. I just kept walking and ahead of me was a hallway with a very bright light people were coming out of the light and passing me again all faces were non descript, everything was very etherial and white. I noticed that there was something on the wall that everyone that came out of the hall seemed to be stopping to look at so, I wandered over to it and looked and was a very pale colored picture I recognized it immediately. It was the shroud of Turin. I have to say this too, I had never given  1 seconds thought to the shroud in my life yet here it was . Well any way I could hear voices from down the end of the long extremely bright hallway and hear a booming voice and laughter it was pure joy. When I got to the entrance I realized, I shouldn’t be here, I had wondered from where I was left to wait. I would never wander around my clients home. So, I returned to where I was waiting by the door. I was getting annoyed and it was like 4 hours. Well, the really pleasant women was back and said she was sorry for the delay and she opened the door to the left of me. The children were quiet now  and she guided me into the room. I stood there and there was a very large white table in front of me. As I stood there the women was standing to the left side of the table looking at me and there was another figure to the right side of the table looking at me  as well. The women looked at me and, I felt love like I had never felt before. She said again sorry for the wait, I remember having been so angry to had to wait 4 hours for her to return and , I just responded its okay and she said to me you are an angel. Of course, I told Father I am certainly not, I am a sinner like everyone. I remember feeling intense love. I knew that it was my Blessed Mother. She without  a word uttered pointed down to the table and moved her hand over the surface as if  she wiped the table and the white milky color left and it now had a clear glass. It was a case.  I could see all kinds of relics, bottles of oils, and religous statues related to my faith and she spoke these words to me, We want you to have many Spiritual gifts. And that was it. I woke up and is as alive today and vivid as the time that it occured.   I have had years to think of why The Blessed Mother would call me an angel, because I am not. So I have a couple of thoughts on that. 1.) She knowing that I was upset with waiting for her which my Blessed Mother would know and yet I told her no problem thought that I was kind? 2.) Everything that I have done in writing including this blog through the Holy Spirit is never about me or any one of us . We are all loved the same. And what mother does not look upon her child at least as  an angel in training?  🙂 Thats the best I can do on that thought last but not least the booming laughter and joy was,  I know, was Our God!  I was given a glimpse of Heaven. I pray everyday to continue to grow for his purpose and into his will completely . Amen. Before I begin, I would like you please pray for a wonderful young man and his family. Scott was a beautiful young man. God Bless and hold them all always. Amen.

Thank you.

During my Cursillo retreat weekend in October of 1999 my eyes we opened to the world of Christian music. I was very familiar with church hymns etc but was totally unaware of this beautiful form of music.

Even after all these years it just amazes me how much beautiful Spirit inspired music there is. It is a very important part of our lives when we  become aware of it.

I can hear music Kathy Troccoli and Beach Boys

Kathy Troccoli & Friends – Love One Another

Water Into Wine- Kathy Troccoli

Go Light Your World – Kathy Troccoli

God Bless,

Danny
